Was on QF8 arriving this morning. Mid slide was out of action so they cordoned off ~150 seats (about 10 rows either side of the toilets). Also some muck up with the baggage. Y screens are still fussy re touchscreen. Interestingly they were actively offering paid upgrades $550 to Y+ and $1050 to J.

i dislike the foot traffic in the bar with the J kitchen in the rear, as well as the loos. When it's quiet it's good though! If you are having a good chat you can also always ask for 2 glasses of your good stuff to share to get around any silly technicalities.

The novelty factor is pretty high with the shower and bar. 777 less seats so arguably more attentive service, although I’ve never been in a full a380 cabin. What’s your routing? Could you do both?
