Sorry to bump, had the best Sydney first class lounge experience with qantas Sydney to Brisbane from the international terminal many years ago. Flew business class A330 on points but was Platinum FF. Took my sister & her ‘infant’ to surprise her. No crying babys involved so no complaints.

Just did a SYD to BNE on Monday night (delayed) but the tray was served (dinner + roll + 'dessert'). I didnt have it so can't comment on the quality, but at least it was there!!

JohnM, nice name, BTW, I'm JonM! I think we're on the same page. I just think the crew/ staff need to enforce the procedure. If pax know they're not going to be turned back, they'll keep abusing the line.

Don't look at the past. Have you tried PB yet? This was my first & only time, & I thought it was quite good, just not 100%. A big step forward. :o

Cool, looking forward to it on Monday morning, SYD to BNE. Old system gave me grief for a while, almost pointless, which is why I'm looking forward to this :p

BTW, haven't had a free upgrade yet, but hoping :D for an upgrade next week, when I'm on 767s instead of 737s. 737s have been rammed BNE to SYD & vv lately, so not expecting anything, especially when you can't even buy a seat! JIM001

Hi Simo, BNE did have an extra person at boarding (I.e. 3 crew) but I don't think they knew what they were doing. Maybe they should have stood at the start of the line to direct traffic. Instead, they were handing out headphones (& calling people from the other line :o ). BTW, the same person...
