As an update. I booked the ZQN-MEL fares and paid cash....checked back on their website today and of course there is availability to purchase tickets using the FFC.

I booked MEL-ZQN on VA as they had a mid morning direct flight. I've just had notification they aren't operating that direct flight now and they have offered me a flight via BNE departing about 6am. I'd rather get a refund and book another carrier for a later departure. Will they give me a cash...

Thanks; there are no economy fares at all available on any dates. My question was more around how else can I use the credit? What can I add to my booking (paid via credit) after I've made a cash booking? The website is incredibly vague and confusing.

These things have to be the biggest sham out there? I had flights booked via VA for March 2020. They "kindly" gave me this credit, but the only seats available to spend it on are business class (either ZQN-MEL or ZQN-SYD). Doing a regular search, there are plenty of economy seats for sale with...

Have VA announced when/if they will be flying to NZ again? I have a covid flight credit with them....would rather the money back than trying to make it work as I'm in DUD and I can't see DUD-BNE coming back.

So I just did a dummy booking in Google Flights for return DUD-BNE in Nov...it came up as $336, so naturally I thought it had come through as US pricing...clicked through to VA site and nope, it was NZD. I have booked it, but it seems to good to be true? I paid ~AU$330 recently for an advance...

Has anyone had any luck with codes to DUD? Am trying MEL-DUD (via BNE) and have previously tried BNE-DUD, but no luck?

The meal was better than anything I have had on NZ Y in the last few years. Especially that ice cream!

Was a couple of pretty big slices of roast pork, with half a dozen roast potatoes. Other roast veges in there too.

The pictures probably don't do it justice, by economy standards it was very good...a hell of a lot better than their domestic offerings. Wifi was patchy, sometimes it would load quick, then others slow.

Flew the new TT service the other day. Meal service was pretty slow, but imagine its just teething issues. Food quality very good and portions great. Only one free beverage offered, the beer was Carlton Dry.

Thanks - we are flying on the 29th of Oct, so once the new trans tasman service model kicks in, so will have at least 1 free bag...would be nice not to have to waste it on the pram though!

VA were great when flying with an infant, but I have an OOL-AKL flight with a now 2 yr old (child fare) and the website doesn't mention if the pram is a free checked item?

Are there any codes that work for BNE-DUD? Seem to have tried a heap for end of October, but no luck
