    LATAM status match $80USD

Yes, I neglected to mention that above! I am saving around USD 120 in checked luggage fees with my matched Black status (by booking Light fares), and hoping upgrades will come through, so for me I thought it was still worth it.

LATAM Airlines Website Bug Resulted In Wrong Date Booked

I don’t have any advice on how correct the booking, just sympathy. My partner was signing up for LATAM Pass yesterday and the date of birth field was exhibiting the exact same off by one bug!

    LATAM status match $80USD

Well, I tried it again yesterday and managed to submit the request, and was approved overnight for Black! Looking forward to trying my luck with the upgrade vouchers for my Argentina trip on May.

US Global Entry Program for Australian citizens

I don’t recall exactly. Maybe it was after immigration and luggage pickup but before customs? Don’t quote me. Signage (or asking immigration staff!) should hopefully be sufficient to find it. (Unhelpfully I do remember that at SFO Internstional terminal it’s one of the lanes on the left at...

US Global Entry Program for Australian citizens

When I did mine a couple of years ago, there were no appointments for a convenient time where I'd be visiting the US. Enrollment on Arrival is the way to go. The Global Entry site should list which airports have Enrollment on Arrival and the hours they're open. I queued up for about 20 minutes...

US Global Entry Program for Australian citizens

Yes you can. My situation was the reverse (initially had only an Australian passport, applied for UK passport by descent). Just go through the process for applying with your UK passport, and at the GE interview, you can ask to have your Australian passport added at the same time.

    LATAM status match $80USD

Just came across this thread, and with an Argentina trip coming up in May, I thought I'd try getting a status match from my UA 1K. I created a LATAM Pass account, then filled the form at latam.statusmatch.com, but got the message: Is the status match no longer available to Australian residents?

    Transfer between Taipei Airports

Never done a transfer between TPE and TSA myself, but echo the fact that getting to TPE on the metro from downtown Taipei is pretty easy. If you're going as soon you arrive at TSA, take the brown line to Nanjing Fuxing, then switch to the green line and head to Beimen station, from where you can...

    Taken 320 PlusPoints expiring 31 January 2024

All my expiring PlusPoints have now been used. (Maybe some will become available again over the next few weeks before Jan 31 if upgrades don't clear.)

    Taken 320 PlusPoints expiring 31 January 2024

I’ll DM you. I was trying to find the answer to that myself on the weekend. I think it is not possible but could not find anything definitive with some quick Web searching. 1702932392 Oh, and welcome to AFF memcnern!

I'm feeling a bit sad ...[My SC's are getting wiped today... =( ]

In two weeks my 10 SCs are resetting to zero, dropping me from SG to LTS, and ending a maybe 12 year run of Gold (with one or two Platinum years in there). During COVID I changed job, and with that my work travel patterns changed. Whereas before I'd be visiting Europe, Asia, and North America...

    Taken 320 PlusPoints expiring 31 January 2024

After that request, and helping out some work colleagues last week, I have 30 points left.

US Global Entry Program for Australian citizens

Sounds like you'd have shorter queues when lining up to go through immigration. But I don't think MPC grants you TSA Precheck membership like Global Entry does.

    Taken 320 PlusPoints expiring 31 January 2024

It's a United MileagePlus thing that Platinums and 1Ks earn that can be used to put in for upgrades. https://www.united.com/en/us/fly/mileageplus/awards/upgrades-types/pluspoints.html It apparently replaced some other system (Complimentary Premier Upgrades) a couple of years back. Edit...

    Taken 320 PlusPoints expiring 31 January 2024

I have 320 PlusPoints expiring at the end of January that I have no chance of using, and which I'd be happy to apply to someone else's booking. Edit: 300 remaining.

China Airlines reward seats using Qantas points

Marhaba Lounge in Melbourne is pretty ordinary too. But when flying CI, they do give you a little paper voucher to order a beef noodle soup, which visitors on other airlines presumably don't get.

China Airlines reward seats using Qantas points

Just returned from a three week Taiwan holiday. Used QF points to go MEL-TPE-MEL in J, and this was my first time flying CI. (Previous trips have been MEL-HKG-TPE on CX.) Service was attentive. Food onboard was plentiful, and not bad. For dinner on board last night I had lobster, and you know...

China Airlines reward seats using Qantas points

Great news! I'm heading back to Taiwan for a few weeks late April on CI reward flights. Will be nice to be able to tack on some other hops, if not for this trip, then next time I'm visiting.
