The Qantas Status Run Master Thread

The calculator's a bit buggy. You may need to switch between QF and FJ because both are the same lower amount.

And for completeness, the link to Kayo: https://www.qantas.com/au/en/frequent-flyer/partners/kayo-sports.html (Unlike Binge, Kayo doesn't have a free trial making it a safer bet after 22 November.)

Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

This is the million dollar $19 question. It's not really clear how the phase out of Qantas points will work with Binge/Kayo, particularly with the trial for Binge. In your case, I would suggest going for Kayo which doesn't have a trial.

    Advice on champagne

Think it's a one time only deal, as I couldn't get it to apply to a second order.

    Advice on champagne

Thanks for the tip. While not ordering champagne, I ordered a bottle of Pernod absinthe for $55 delivered.

    Qantas Wine latest offering

Went for the Thompson Estate Chardonnay. $430.60 (after PCP discount and voucher) for 27,875 points (so 1.54cpp). Not the absolute best value, but I'm far more likely to drink chardonnay than a shiraz or cab sav that feature further up the value list.

    Qantas Wine latest offering

For those people willing to take a punt on Aramex, there's triple points at Qantas Wines until 26 November. (Despite Aramex being cough, have decided to burn off my second PCP voucher.)

Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Yeah - I bought Piper Heidsieck for my family Christmas through Coles. Came to $174 for four bottles delivered. (Don't forget to throw in the free food items too!)

Avianca LifeMiles – Bookings and Discussion

BR is pretty good IME. Flew them from AMS to BKK last year (booked through Lifemiles) and it was very nice. Your best bet for TPE to BNE is BR too. I take it there's no availability in J? At any rate, BR's TPE-BNE flight is a daytime flight so while not great (and not in the spirit of AFF), it...

I did as he was walking back. He sheepishly went and got the parcel and delivered it to me then, muttering an apology.

Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Yup - booze through Coles and Woolies count towards the spend for Flybuys/EDR offers. (Have ordered four bottles of Piper Heidsieck for the family Christmas lunch - at $44 a bottle , it was too good a deal to pass up...)

    Qantas Wine latest offering

First delivery under the brave new world of Aramex and it was delivered to the wrong address! Despite me standing at my front gate next to my clearly marked street number, the courier walked right by me and delivered it to the wrong house (with equally clear numbering showing something...

Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

I think the fact I got an extra 200 points does point to some dodgy IT. However, the key thing IME is whether the offer disappears a few minutes after scanning my QFF card. That usually indicates a single use offer. (I have had points not credit correctly using the BP card, so perhaps that may...

    Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

500 points for a $40 spend. A nice bonus for week two of three of my $75/10000 point offers. (And 100 points for $10 on poultry.)

Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

Phew! All points credited correctly, and I was even credited with an extra 200 points from a bonus offer that had expired earlier in the week so happy with that. So the $100 spend at BP on the 10x products can be across multiple shops.

Citi cards become myCard - no more CX, KF, EY, QR from 16/11/25

They paid the money for the 'white label' credit card business (where a business effectively sold a Citi credit card under their own branding - Coles being one such example). Basically, it was a plan to grow NAB's credit card business, while Citi wanted to retreat from retail banking in most...

Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

Ah cough! I went to two servos to buy the Favourites as neither had enough stock. The wording on the website is ambiguous though. On the one hand it says "Earn 10x points when you buy any participating shop item (Smith Minis 90-150g varieties, Cadbury Favourites 265g, Dare 750ml) in-store in a...

    Cathay Pacific booking classes

IME, I flew from MEL-HKG-ICN with MEL-HKG in E premium economy earlier this year. It does indeed earn at flexible economy rates (rather than premium economy). You'll lose a few points, but at least the SC earn is the same.
