    Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

Last recycling pickup was this morning and the 'activity completed' has posted in the app. Now to wait for the final leaf to appear.

    Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I got an email reminding me to complete week two a couple of hours ago.

    Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

As an aside, instore receipts are available on Coles Online too under 'Instore Purchases'. Fortunately no glitches re the date on the receipt (either printed or online) but no sign of the week two offer on the app.

    Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

I have week 2 of a 2x$60 spend at Flybuys for 2000 points while Woolworths has offered... nothing at all this week. For me then, the Flybuys offering is infinitely better...

My first experience with China Eastern Airlines (MU)

They tend to drop their prices a bit closer in (the cheap fares are currently available to the end of June).

Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

The T&Cs for the promo say the base points will post up to 8 weeks after the end of the promo on 31 January (so still within the period to claim the SCs).

    Cathay co-brand credit card

CX, while having okay market share, is not a big enough player to sustain its own card in the Australian market IMO. To add to what @levelnine has said, the best you could hope for is for AsiaMiles to remain a transfer partner (which currently they are for several banks' non-Qantas cards).

Fees and taxes for CR domestic J vs Y?

Even on MEL-SYD and vv, the fee is considerably higher. $80 vs $57 (slightly above the difference in the article linked to above).

Qantas RM Williams Business Amenity Kits

Between that and the return of paper bags at supermarkets, it all feels very back to the future! But yes, single use plastics, while convenient, are pretty dreadful for the environment so this is welcome. But I wonder if they should go down the VS route and stick amenities in a paper bag, or...

Qatar started flying non-Qsuite aircraft to Adelaide

This is ordinarily true, but Qatar offers a guarantee for Q Suites. It's only if you're on ticket on Qatar 157 stock (i.e. not VA stock), allowing for free rebooking up to 21 days either side. Hence, the OP is not entitled to a rebooking as a consequence of the aircraft change. QSuites are...

    AccorPlus China

Ah - there's a 50 night cap with Accor China cards from using cards so perhaps the Amex nights counted towards that?

    AccorPlus China

Was that the first card you bought, or had you bought other cards before to get 30 nights?

    AccorPlus China

On what basis? Did you buy the 30 night one and only get 20 nights (or was it because you hit the cap)?

Australia to Europe from $684 return

I'm guessing they'll be like most other OTAs - fine if nothing needs changing/goes wrong but one of the circles of hell if they do. Hence you need a big discount over booking direct to compensate for that risk - which is the case here.

Australia to Europe from $684 return

Anyway, back on topic, as well as Y, there are also very tasty J fares on MU and CZ at the moment (if you're prepared to take a punt on booking though Aunt Betty/BYOJet using Skyscanner). For example, you can fly MEL-AMS/CDG from just over $4.4k on CZ on some days in March and April next year...

Australia to Europe from $684 return

It's a recurring theme here that some members run around going 'CCP airline!' without articulating why this is a problem. However, as you note, there are many other airlines owned by governments that are unpleasant by Australian standards (Qatar, Etihad, Emirates and Vietnam Airlines all spring...

    Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

I thought it'd be tricky too but the recycling option has (so far at least) been fairly straightforward. It's worth checking out if that's what your fifth leaf would be.

Emirates restricts first class awards to elite members only

Following up, Dom Perignon Plenitude P2 was loaded on both SYD-CHC on 30 December and CHC-SYD on 31 December, but it was not on the wine list. There was one bottle on each. I think the one on SYD-CHC had been started already as I only had about three-quarters of it, but I had a whole bottle to...
