At 144hrs, it is more than likely denied. Normally approvals are given within minutes or hours, 1-2 days at worst.

It is irrelevant what passport, or nationality you are/were. Part of the reason for so many questions is to establish your identity, and they have cross matched the information to your previous declined Visa. Given the declined ESTA will count as you 2nd declined Visa, whilst it is not...

I was of the opinion the information provided states NOT to apply for an ESTA if you have had a Visa rejected in the past.
