We took Mystar from Tallinn to Helsinki in September last year as it is the newest ferry...cost a bit more than the Eckero line ferry which I think is the cheapest. MyStar was very new and impressive.... we didn't buy any food on the 2 hour ferry ride but there were many restaurants and cafes...

This may give you some ideas We did ferry from Zanzibar to Dar, overnighted near ferry terminal, then flew QR J Dar-Doh-Adl using Velocity points...high surcharges but at least it was Q suites from Doh to Adl...

I think empty words for the many passengers (incl my friends) who were stuck in Dubai airport when their connecting flight was cancelled....my friends were stuck for over 30 hours at the airport, "slept" in a chair as there were no available hotel rooms, endured hours of Qs to rebook flights etc...

As much as I dislike lots of things about Qf, I wont cut my nose off to spite my face...if it suits me to fly Qf I will; if not, I will fly Va and vice versa

Got another letter from Diners last week reminding me that the card is no longer usable and to redeem my points by 30 July as my account will be closed then and the points will be forefeited....if they bothered to check my balance, they will find it is zero!

When I open my Didi app under settings, there is a heading " Velocity Pts" ...clicked on it and added my number....accts now linked and I got 1000 velocity pts for linking. Did it for +1 .... so now I have 2000 additional Velocity pts in total. ;)

From googling and reading other online forums, it seems all ATMs in Sth Africa charge between 50-75 Rand per withdrawal and the maximum varies from 3000- 5000 Rand with the former more likely. Happy for this to be confirmed either way. I know card is widely used now in SA but my tour company...

What's the situation in South Africa? I assume, without knowing, that cash is still needed. Do all the ATMs in partic the ones at Jnb airport, charge a fee? And how much is the fee and what is the maximum cash withdrawal? Thanks

Friends were in transit on Wed at Dxb, bound for SJJ....arrived 5 hours late after circling airport for 2 hours. Flight fo SJJ cancelled and they finally got a flight to Zag instead 7 hours ago (flight delayed 8 hours!!) after spending > 30 hours on the ground in Dxb with no hotel available...
