Has anyone ever been able to redeem Velocity points for ANA domestic Premium Class?

Not a post about status, but for anyone looking for cheap fares to find ex Japan back home on Singapore Airlines, they have limited Business fares for around $1800 floating around. Just nabbed one from Nagoya albeit with an 8 hour layover in Singapore.

Cathay has flights Cairns to Hong Kong with flatbed.

The ones they currently have.

Bali will be the only one.

The Krisflyer Gold Lounge has showers if you are Velocity Gold/Platinum and flying in anything but Business/First. It's for me a basic lounge but far better than what it used to be.

I mean the Sydney/Melbourne to LAX routes alone are highly competitive. Why on earth would Virgin introducing used 787s make any sense?

Looks like I will have no issue in retaining Gold for another year, but beyond that will get tougher. Good value Singapore Airlines Business Class fare ex Tokyo helped a lot.

Ended up biting the bullet and booking Business on the 11th. Sure beats economy.

Does ANA ever release award seats earlier than than ten days prior to departure? I know from checking the GDS they have Business seats available on the 12 and 13 November- just can't see the I Class in the GDS which is the booking class for all Star Alliance redemptions. If I called Velocity...
