I tried a couple of months ago and it worked but you have raised my doubts. I always seem to arrive on the last flight so the lounges are shutting down.
If you aspire to WP then I may imagine it may be worth it, even if flying J. Think of SYD INT J lounge vs F lounge. Not sure of the difference in the EK lounges in DXB. Have only been in F lounges there.
But not in CL? Perhaps that's why I don't see anyone famous. CL is a bridge too far for me. Though I am sure I say Billy Connolly in the SYD INT F lounge once.
