I appreciate the interest of most AFF posters in the amenities of the J cabin offered by QF.
However unless on a DONEx or an upgrade it is unlikely I would be flying QFF J.
Therefore my real issue is the Y seats on the QF A330s (2x window/aisle) are the most comfortable in the fleet (subject to...
For those of us who need to arrive in Perth at a time suitable for a 5 hour drive home, the JQ flights were a possibility. And used in Feb 2025.
How about PER-CMB or PER-BLR? Might ignore timing problems for those. though Economy plus in the first 6 rows would be appreciated.
Now the...

Has anyone determined how many of those will be "unavailable" in Western Australia?
Home utilities seems "iffy"...
RE: Banked WP for a year for every 10K SC after LTG.....
Why do I suspect that this will apply ONLY when those way points are achieved AFTER the start of the new program.
Plans are being made ONLY for current wandering
Fred
PER-BLR and PER-CMB are certainly within the range of the 321neo
Would allow opening up the sub-continent without needing a 787.
convert the first six or seven rows (which are extra $ seats already) to economy plus with an extra 4-5" of leg room.
Better alternatives for cheap(er) wandering
Fred
Excuse the rant.
For someone whose most frequent flying was from 1978 to 1991, I have little compassion/consideration for those complaining about not having credit for flights prior to the creation of the current QFF program. A ten year break in the 1990s saw me lose 32K points with PanAm/AA...
If TPTB do not start planning for fifty years out by reserving the high(er) speed rail line corridors (no intersections with other traffic), future generations will not have the ability to have in country wandering.
Fred
And would offer Perth yet more advertising when the price of the rail ticket to the Perth airport is highlighted. Now to get Perth to offer trains for the early FIFO flights.
Cheap access to the airport helps the required wandering
Fred
Be very careful with MH business tickets.
The fare you have quoted is almost certainly "Business Basic" or Z class which only earns as flexible economy in QFF.
Still an inexpensive business seat (which earns little) is sometimes acceptable when wandering
Fred
Looking through the FAQ section after registering, the use of gift cards is listed as being acceptable.
For those who can't schedule flights 6 months in advance,
Anything to help the wandering.

And no bus between T2 and T1 (or T3/4).
Rex or Virgin to any other.
Maybe as a Senior I should ask Perth Airport about assistance with my wandering.

One time offer for 2000 points for a $100 spend in the nest 4 days. Not likely.
Just in time for my one week overseas trip (limited grocery needs) to secure next year's status for wandering
Fred
And in some cases worth the comfort and still get better than what plain economy would earn.
Especially when "D" and "C" class are almost double the price.
Be choosy when wandering
Fred
At least you could have saved a number of other people a bit of time by also posting your discovery.
It would have saved some wandering
Fred
Happy post #3000
Similar fare discussion on FT in the BA thread group.
The BA "elite commentators" were adamant that "O" class on BA ticketing was ONLY there to enforce the "NEVER refundable" part of the ticket rules. Of course crediting only to BA is a minor issue for them. Sometimes a member of other frequent...
