I assume you would have seen one of the many posts of the Fedex 767 landing at Istanbul without the nose gear. Maybe more a question for the airport and ground crew than the pilots (after skillfully getting it down safely). How do they remove the aircraft from the runway with minimal damage ?

PS... looking at the avatars, it isn't often you see a grumpy cat give something to a happy dog !

this email evaded the gmail filters and appeared in my inbox. had to think twice about subscription renewals, but it is vague on exactly what, although very precise on product codes etc, There is no postcode 9837, and Kalgoorlie is in WA not NSW. .

thanks for the info. She is just a few points short for a flight on VA for herself + daughter. Will explore transferring some points to VA from her and my accounts, or she gets her ticket via KF and I buy a ticket for daughter with my KF points.
