never had an issue getting into the Emirates Lounge in AKL when flying Qantas as a WP. Only the usual warnings about no boarding announcements.

QF WP, in J on QF 158 (MEL-AKL) yesterday, was told that i would be the last QF passenger let into the EK Lounge for the day. Was also told that if not for QF WP, I would not have been allowed in notwithstanding flying J. Apparently as QF does not codeshare on the remaining EK Flights out of...

i've been denied entry as QF WP flying AA J because the lounge was full of F/J/WP/OWE's on QF Metal. The F Lounge at LAX seems to prioritize those on QF Metal before members on OW flights.

Do you have many other card applications/closures on your file? that was the reason i was given for my last rejection. Unsure whether I should try again. all in all a bit ridiculous considering the minimum income for the card is $35k p.a.
