Yep! But for contingencies (e.g. app broken, no OL checkin due to ferry sector etc), is it possible to do airside transit in MEL without an onward boarding pass? i.e. some airports have transit desk on airside that can issue onward BPs
QF from NZ connecting to CX to HK on seperate tickets.
If I don't have any checked luggage, can I transit in MEL T2 without going through immigration and going back in again? I imagine the QF desk in NZ will not issue me BPs for the CX flight.
How is the fare difference calculated for say an international flight in J after you flew one sector, where the one way is almost the same price as a return flight?
Why not just transfer A$32,500 to a foreign currency and then immediate convert it back to AUD.

Ah my bad, my question was more around average fleet age. I think by the time the jumbos retired, the a330s and a380s would have been rather young? There was probably a bit more slack in the fleet given the lesser maintenance requirements?
Hey dairyfloss, what's the best way to contact the concierge about booking a ticket that I was only able to price via a call book with QF directly in order to the get the 10% discount? Thanks!
There is no point to this argument. Those who are deemed to have the burden of proof instantly lose because no one has access to definitive data on how many CR seats QF releases.
I dont know how and why people are only just coming to the realisation that every change they make is going to be nothing but another devaluation in disguise. What's good for the frequent flyers are bad for Qantas and their shareholders and vice versa. We are playing a zero sum game here and QF...
Qantas could sell more seats at 1c then at .7c. Its a listed company not a charity. They've done the math and this would not only be more profitable for them but also reduces their liabilities.
While the incrased redemption value is in itself not a bad thing. But dont forget, reward+ doesnt...
Eh didnt they use to offer a million QF points per home loan (think it was with nab).
Edit: circa 2015?
I know ANZ offered 300k per home loan earlier this year
