Well ... that's the thing. If you're getting free upgrades that works well, but if you're paying the extra cash each-way for the fare, then you could spend a fraction of that on a better beer or a better coffee. And the seat thing ... it's an unusual situation when you can't find a decent one...

Probably Monday to Thursday ... we went up for a work weekend away Friday & came back Sunday (both VA), there were 2 spare seats on the way & none on the way back. I was surprised they were flying a 737, but saw why!

I think it's fair not to ignore a message from an organisation with whom you have an account. Just never follow links on the message, when checking-out the validity of that message; get there another way, from your shortcut or by going to their site directly. Some organisations won't even send...

You can easily tell the cruise ship passengers … they’re the ones coughing, sneezing, probably throwing-up etc. I actually suspect the general vehemence WRT cruise ships is probably because of how much damage they do, they’re just filthy. So they get blamed for everything from beating-up nuns...

We had screams of terror when arriving in Brisbane, but I think that was a result of passengers finally fully understanding where they were.
