So I tried the $11 plonk - hewitson ungrafted shiraz 2021 - from the wine deals posted here recently. Red cherries, bit of a medicine taste, balanced , not all that intense, plain in my view and certainly didn't think it had a long finish. Not quite medium body. Better with a bit of time open...
