Has anyone transited from Qf to Af at SIN, seperate PNR? I am presuming that I will not get baggage checked through, though curious what lounge I can access in SIN as a WP. I have ticket no. starting with 081.
QA, EK and BA J are very good, not much variation to my wifes. CX was very average the one time I went with them, in fact worse the QF. Even QF economy had more flavour.
Though as stated above, if your wife is a celiac, travel with caution.
Taxi is quickest, and clearly signed after you collect your bags, pretty reasonably priced as well and no fuss. My preference after a flight, then metro to get around during the day/evening. Make sure you have a picture of the hotel and address for the driver.

It is a nice hotel, room was good and an ok size, it was an overnighter for us and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, nice size gym for a hotel and the staff were great. Would stay again as it is centrally located with some good restaurants within walking distance.
I can understand why this would be enforced, as much as I was a bit peeved at the time. My post was not so much a complaint as a question to see if this was occurring often, as it hadn't happened to me before. Seems to be on a needs basis, which kind of makes sense. Though if you were redeeming...
Flying AY in J, SIN to LHR and booked though QF, also WP. Told that as I am not flying QF metal that I cannot access the 1st lounge until after 7.30pm due to capacity management. First time for me, and I have been through Singapore multiple times this year, anyone else experienced this...
