New Qantas promos including double status credits (book by 3/9/25; travel 4/9/25 until 22/8/26)

If the booking is made via the Qantas website you should be able to change via the Manage My Booking option. If booked via other channel then need to go through there. Either way, the booking reference should stay the same for travel date changes.

New Qantas promos including double status credits (book by 3/9/25; travel 4/9/25 until 22/8/26)

If you retain the same booking reference (PNR) and travel within the validity period of the offer - Yes.

    Qantas' New A321XLR

Well it wasn't overly successful for SQ a few years ago. Times change though.

    Jetstar - Seoul-Sydney-Melbourne Transfers

They tend to be staffed sporadically though unfortunately. A phone with a list of various numbers to call is generally there when unmanned , but whether JQ would be on the list is doubtful I reckon.

    Jetstar - Seoul-Sydney-Melbourne Transfers

That's if they're aware of the potential options, in this case, at Sydney. I've had my bags checked through to CBR (via SYD) by EY and check in staff helpfully assured me that as my bag is checked through to CBR I don't collect it in SYD. Advice duly ignored.

That sums up the situation - not available yet. Just have to wait till QF update whatever needs updating.

OWA clarification on Alaska and Fiji Airlines

Welcome, you'll probably find much useful information in the thread below. if you haven't seen it yet. Question 1 - If the operating carrier is not a member of Oneworld Alliance then not eligible. Wholly owned subsiduaries like American Eagle are ok. Question 2 - I can see reward availability...

    Qantas DSC October 2024 Offer - book by 31/10/24 & fly 1/11/24-19/10/25

I imagine that one of you would keep the original PNR, that should keep the DSC. The other new booking probably won't - booked (or created) outside of the booking window. But never know your luck.

First reward flight SYD-LHR. Are my expectations too high?

I'm thinking there were no award seats on Sundays between HBA-SYD, given this is in relation to a platinum release request scenario. I couldn't get a reward seat between CBR-SYD on the same booking in a similar situation- First class reward seat on QF1. Luckily, I could book a separate reward...

CheckMyTrip Update - No more desktop access or ticket numbers

New QF eTicket about 24 hours ago and no update in CMT. Itinerary was origanally added by reloc not forwarding email. Also 2 itineraries, again added by quoting the reloc, do not have the first flight when its qflink - connecting to a QF mainline. Coincidence? Who knows, but for me its a bit flaky.

    Another QF Baggage Checkin Question

Their policy for single PNR connections on to Oneworld carriers is to through check bags and issue boarding passes.

    Qantas Delays/Cancellations

If the flight operates between international terminals pax can clear in Sydney. Luggage may still come off for balance issues etc.

ANSETT Brand relaunched as ‘AI-POWERED’ Travel Website

This ad from 1985 infers that TAA had business class before Ansett. They did have First, Business and Economy for a short while

Article: The Pros & Cons of Different Aircraft Types

I think that can be overrated compared to other variables. Worse jetlag I've had in recent times was after 12 hours on a 787 (in J), but with an uncomfortable seat equating to minimal comfort and shuteye.

Qatar Check in at Singapore Changi

Rarely a thing here, at the bigger ports here at least IME. Not much point not 'opening' the flights, given the use outbound APP.
