Help! Points for QR flight not credited. Still being accused of lying.

What do you suggest that I do to resolve it? It appears my issue is very similar, someone probably stole my miles. VA have admitted that my flight should have earned VA miles but are escalating with QR to confirm. That's where we are at now.

Help! Points for QR flight not credited. Still being accused of lying.

Thanks mate. So did VA/QR end up resolving it? Were the boarding passes with VA numbers sufficient?

Help! Points for QR flight not credited. Still being accused of lying.

This would explain a lot. Such a shame with such a world class product they can't get these things right.

Help! Points for QR flight not credited. Still being accused of lying.

Hi all, I flew QSuite on 25 February and triple checked that my VA Velocity number was on the booking. Triple checked the fare type (I paid in cash) is eligible. All above board. Indeed the boarding passes had the numbers on them. Points weren't credited. Waited the 14 days to lodge a claim...

Velocity points credit after QR business flight

So I had to make a claim online and they rejected it for some reason. Super frustrating given the boarding passes clearly had my Velocity number on them. I've attached same and escalated it. Will keep everyone posted.

Velocity points credit after QR business flight

Hello brains trust, I recently flew QR business (about a week ago) and attached my velocity number to the flights. I have yet to have the points and status credits credited to my velocity account. From your experience how long does this usually take? Thanks

SYD priority lane at T1 International

Hello all, Apologies if this is already being discussed somewhere but I couldn't find it when I searched. Travelling in J on SQ242 next week. I heard the priority lane at SYD is open again for First and Business class passengers? Anyone flown recently could point me in the right direction (as...

CEO retiring, what changes at Qantas would you like to see

Where to start? 1. Better reward seat availability and fairer access like other airlines 2. Better call centres with actual competent staff 3. Wifi on international services 4. Complete overhaul of food and beverage service on board 5. Not selling cancelled flights 6. Not blocking other...

Alan Joyce to leave Qantas immediately

I reckon he jumped ship early because for whatever reason the media stopped backing him. Despite all the controversies over the years he was always able to distract with emotional marketing campaigns and big media announcements with huge endorsements from most major journalists/TV networks...

    Mixed cabin booking on SQ

Hello all, I'm trying to fly to the Maldives and want to make a mixed cabin booking. If I book business all the way from Melbourne it is 92.5k miles. It calculates this value based on the zones Australia and the Maldives are in. Otherwise it would be 111.5k (68.5+43) is each leg was booked...

QR Business class rewards on Velocity

Hello all, Wanting to fly QSuite next year with the missus and my daughter, but every time I search for 3 seats I can never see any availability, no matter how far I book in advance, from any Australian city. Does anyone have any experience with this? Does QR only release a maximum of 2 seats...

Credit card approval after going part time

Hello brains trust, My wife has recently gone part time after we had our first child. After applying for a couple of cards, she has been rejected each time (Westpac and Citi). Understandably we haven't gone for the most premium cards anymore (eg typical Black cards), but cards with bonuses...

Hello all, in case you missed it, here's an update on my case. Looks like the NCAT is the way to go.

    Taking Qantas to NCAT

I did get an email straight after the phone call asking for receipts and to confirm the amount I'm seeking. I responded back with "as discussed...$x, please see attached". Thankfully they kept to their word, responded in writing to confirm. Gave them bank details, funds are on their way. The...

    Taking Qantas to NCAT

Hello all. An update on my case, I got a call from Qantas this morning (4 working days after filing my application). They'd investigated my case, acknowledged the stuff up, and said it was "disappointing" that a simple request to rebook was not followed up on correctly. I've been asked to send...

    Taking Qantas to NCAT

@jpp42 At the end of the day I hope common sense prevails, the Consumer Law should protect the average consumer, regardless of whether or not they know the difference between ticketing and booking. In many ways we are 'lucky'. I say lucky because we actually have the knowledge that our bookings...

    Taking Qantas to NCAT

I tried to explain it very simply, in such a way to keep the jargon out of it, this was part of my statement: "The reason I am seeking compensation is that on 18 July I received an email notification that my original booking xx_xx was changed. At 11.14pm on that same day I called and spoke with...

    Taking Qantas to NCAT

Interesting that @andrewh3 got a call from Qantas shortly after filing the application whereas I presume you haven't got a call yet @papeto? Perhaps there are a lot of people going down this route now and they can't handle the volumes. I lodged mine yesterday and my hearing is in 3 weeks...
