What kind of flights are you booking? We’re looking at reward seats in J between Aus and USA or Asia

Agree on the call centre priority, I hadn't thought about that. I've had to call Qantas call centre a few times and even as a lowly SG, the priority has meant much less time on the phone and quicker resolution. Better lounges don't hurt either - thanks!

I've been looking into this card too. I'm now an AC Aeroplan member and have a couple of trips to do this year. Checking seats.aero, it looks like there could be a good chance of J availability where and when we want to go. So, if flying in J anyway, is this card worth it? 50K aeroplan points...

QF462 16:00 MEL-SYD delayed 50 minutes (at this stage) staff offered for us to go on an earlier flight (the one scheduled later than our original flight) but didn’t have two seats in J for us, opted to risk the connection 🤞

PQQ is only a regional airport so doesn’t show on seats.aero, not sure about EF. There’s usually at least one seat on a couple of flights each day, yesterday there were three flights with two reward seats each on Saturday. Just surprised they disappeared that quickly along with availability on...

I need to do a short notice trip PQQ-SYD on the QF Dash8 service. I checked yesterday and there was plenty of availability with Reward seats every day for the next 7 days or so. I go back in today to book and they're all gone apart from 1 or 2 at times and days that don't suit. I wonder if this...

Yes, I use seats.aero and Velocity to look for reward seats. Availability is quite good for travel 2-3 weeks out but poor any longer than that for anything other than economy. Our trip will be November. Thanks for the info SYD and clifford

Not much going on in this thread for a while? We’ve got some trips planned to the US the next few years, probably an annual trip if not more, so I was looking to buy United miles when on promotion, as they currently are for 90% bonus miles. I know the J availability beyond two or three weeks out...

Am I correct in thinking the SCs earned with reward seats as PC+ are 70% of full fare SCs? I'm already close to requalifying for this year so don't want to overspend if I don't have to.
