Yes cancelled this a week back mid cycle. They agreed to do a pro rata refund over the phone and assured points will still be credited when statement arrives

Not sure if it works the same if you've recently closed the velocity card but I had no issues getting bonus points applying for the Qantas card a few weeks after getting approved for their Velocity card and holding both at the same time!

Hey Pele, I literally had the same issue this past week and finally got it resolved yesterday. Turns out all it took was a online request via SQ's website for them to manually allocate a seat for me! Good luck!
