Singapore still seems to be releasing seats consistently ~12m in advance. I was able to find saver availability right in the middle of the olympics by booking on the day they were released. So hopefully it works out for you!

Does availability look like it comes back on or after Christmas Day? The Singapore award availability was pretty similar, good until mid-December and then mostly advantage seats (probably for the same expected traffic reason)
