Has anyone had experience choosing seats on Japan Airlines flights booked via classic rewards? Is my only option to book them when we check in at the airport?? First time booking a classic rewards seat! (I think this post belongs here..?)

Hi All I'm currently booking flights to Japan, and am a little confused. For 75,600 points I'm booking two classic reward seats to Tokyo with what I thought to be $205 taxes/fees. On the next page it's calling it "Points Plus Pay". I guess I thought classic reward flights and points plus pay...

For sure, on both accounts. I'm trying to keep optimistic, this past month we've gained enough to get us at least one flight to Japan
