My mistake the WP benefit is only for domestic flights. However, I have heard many stories from family and friends about getting lounge on arrival when travelling on a F ticket, especially if it was paid for with cash and you have a WP status to go along with it.

I think lounge access on arrival is a WP perk so you should be able to get in. But for those without WP status paid first class is is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural

Agreed that's why I put quotation marks around "equal". I personally wouldn't choose Jetstar for a long-haul flight unless the price were right.

I would rate them both as "equal" but that's because I'm quite tall and wide so I don't fit into economy seats with much comfort. But I she would have tried to change it back but she has even less status than I do.

Yeh, I think the thing that made this experience bad wasn't that Jetstar failed but how consistently they failed. Also the fact that Melbourne airport fleeced me out of $130 of parking that 24 hours.

JQ seemed to have lots of issues with that flight when my GF was travelling back to Germany in September last year and Jetstar gave me one of the worst experiences I have ever seen (Tickets booked with AirFrance). The original itinerary was MEL>SIN (QF), SIN > CDG (AF), and CDG > FRA (AF). But...

Have 2 general lounge passes that expire on the 24/5/2023. Looking to trade them for one that expires later in the year or some Q-Bag tags if anyone has some spares (my baggage was stolen recently and I no longer have status with Qantas to request new ones). Happy to pay for postage.
