I got this exact same meal - on an 11:45am departure (that was delayed until 12:30 anyway). Wasn't thrilled about it.

QF875 OOL-MEL Told that as it was an 11:45am departure it was a morning tea service! Choice of scrambled eggs or a frittata and pork sausage. Sparkling wine only, no red or white available. No pre departure drink. Pathetic really.

Decor is nice, food was woeful though

Lisbon airport is very close to the city centre so it probably isn't worth staying in one to be honest. Compared to many other European cities hotel costs are significantly cheaper too, so stay in town and live it up for a night I reckon.
