    Booking AirBnB through Qantas website

Hey @luckypierre, thanks for the update. I followed your lead and opened a claim as well. They reach out soon after to confirm I had booked through the Qantas website and the points were credited a few days after that.

Anyone cancelled Qantas tickets to rebook sale fares?

Oh okay, that's good to know. The fare class is Economy Sale and the fare rules state: Cancellation (including no show) Before and after departure: Cancellation fee of AUD $500 per person applies (no charge for infant paying 10% of the fare) Cancellation after no show ticket is non...

Anyone cancelled Qantas tickets to rebook sale fares?

It does say per person per booking but I assumed it means each way. Never done this so I better call them to make sure. If that's the case it would mean 1600 dollars in savings so I might give it a try.

Anyone cancelled Qantas tickets to rebook sale fares?

Hi AFF, as the title suggests, the recent Qantas North America sale is making me consider cancelling the tickets I got last month to re-book with this new sale. I spent 6.4k for two adults and one infant to JFK and back. Now a similar trip (to Newark) on the same dates would cost 3.8k, but I...

    Booking AirBnB through Qantas website

There is a section on the Qantas that redirects you to AirBnB and then you're supposed to book within that session without closing the browser. Not sure if it will work though, been waiting on those 3.4k points for two weeks. I know the feeling though, I booked family flights to the US for 6.4k...

What's the most obscure airport you've visited?

Mahshahr Airport (MRX) in Iran. Barely bigger than a Chemist Warehouse, mainly serving people working in the oil industry.

QFF points traveling with Cathay Pacific

Hi AFF, I recently flew Cathay Pacific from Mel to HKG (CX0104) and then from HKG to ZRH (CX0383) in Economy Light. I used my QFF number and I earned 1100 and 1475 Qantas points for each flight respectively. I was expecting at least four digits by looking at the points calculator on the Qantas...

NY JFK - DFW - MEL connection

Thanks! Yeah, a lot of people recommending LGA but booking through Qantas I only had JFK as an option with layovers in LAX, DFW, SYD or AKL.

NY JFK - DFW - MEL connection

Thanks, that makes me feel a bit better. My worry is that the inbound flight will be on time but it will still take to much time to clear all checks to make the outbound flight. I am not sure in that case what is Qantas's policy.

Hi AFF, new member here As the title suggests, has anyone tried the connection between NY JFK and Melbourne through Dallas Fort Worth? If yes what was your experience? How long did it take to make the connection and what were the steps/checks/lines involved? I have booked a Qantas flight...
