I've flown 2 times in the last 12 months to the U.S. and back on the dreamliner out of melbourne. I was in economy plus and not had anyone next to me. The last time coming back I had the whole row. It was great for me, but I was wondering how long they could sustain that.

How do you go about claiming the pilot gold when you spend the $2000 in the first 3 months? I'm the admin in our business account, but I can't see where to do it?

Just to confirm. I was able to retrieve the booking on the UA website using the Virgin booking reference. Was then able to purchase seat selections. A little while later I could see the seat selection show up in my Velocity itinary.

Is there any difference booking a flight to San Fran through the Virgin web site, or simply just directly through United and adding my Velocity number? i.e Will they recognise my Velocity status if I booked through United? Is seat selection only available if I book with United? Or can I book...
