    This wouldn't surprise me at all, sadly. I still feel that availability of normal Classic Reward seats has declined significantly over the last 12 - 18 months. We know more people are flying and more people have excess points, but it's been near-impossible to score anything decent.

    Gold status, got bumped from flight to Bangkok. Colleagues who are Bronze status / not even QFF members are still on flight.

    Not how staff travel works - it's always based on airline seniority / job role, and only when there are seats available. Paying passengers always get priority over staff, so at the end of the day if all seats are sold to paying passengers, no seats will be "given" to staff.

    Booked on the Saturday A330-300 from SYD to BNE -20 hours in the cheapest Economy Class seat (O), requested an upgrade with two seats showing in ExpertFlyer, and received an upgrade at -12 hours overnight. Very chuffed but also very surprised!

    They lose the rights, sure, but no QR staff ever got upgraded while traveling on QF staff travel (or very few). With how QF commercial upgrades work (i.e., at the gate) it's notoriously hard for ID90 travellers to get an upgrade these days.

    Significant effort needs to be placed in the most important aspect: the customer. It's been disappointing to watch things deteriorate significantly more over the last 3 years.
