If you get a good deal on the Bos and Empyrean you can't go wrong. The 2014 RSR though are great, yet to try a 2020 so with a few more years on them you'll notice an improvement, agreed on the ageing.

I'm also on the Reschke bandwagon, the Reserve is good. The Bos even better, a step up is the RSR and then Empyrean.

Yes, a handwritten letter around November last year. My thoughts were a response would come with the next release, or would you expect a response on receipt of the letter?

Interesting, I'd be pumped just to get a reply that my letter has been accepted.

Guessing the time of year is approaching all the lucky ones are soon to receive the allocation for purchase. Could I also expect to get a response to a letter sent last year or is this a long term waiting game?

Have you tried it yet? I had another taste of the 2014 Empyrean and it was even better then I remembered (wine was from another's collection).

For me yes, no big difference between the Reserve and Bos. Though an improvement with the RSR 2012 and step up with the Empyrean 2014. EDIT: Note that the 'worth it' statement is improved at the discounted rate via the VM deals at the time.

Would you expect a reply to come through once you're placed on the list, or a reply to the letter once received? I ask as it has been approx. 4 months since I sent my letter addressed to the owners.

If I may ask a question, I’ve sent my well written letter this year kindly requesting placement in the next available opening. Should I be expecting a reply of any kind, am I being optimistic to even get a response, or how long would you expect to wait?
