Leaving Changi airport during transit time

Hi folks, Hope everyone is keeping well. I have a flight booked from Perth-Singapore-London but have a 6-hour transit in Singapore before my flight to London. I would love to be able to use this as an opportunity to spend a little bit of time with my family rather than just stay at the airport...

I've found my ideal Travel Charger

Good thought, but would much prefer a wall charger. Have a similar power bank. 🙂

I've found my ideal Travel Charger

Thanks for that. My current HP laptop was provided with a 150W charger, so I'm looking for something close to that.

I've found my ideal Travel Charger

It would seem these are unfortunately on pre-orders with shipping due in September. Has anyone found or had experience with any other similar travel chargers?

    AMEX rejection

I don't think this is entirely true. I'm not a CC churner at all and got rejected.

    AMEX rejection

I'm curious to hear about what income / spending people who have been approved (or even the people rejected) are listing on their applications?

15-20% bonus points when transferring to Velocity in May-June 2024

Hi everyone, have a couple of questions - 1) has there been an instance in the recent time where the Citi rewards bonus points transfer to Velocity has been better than 15%? 2) If I turn on auto transfer for St George for the bonus 20%, do I need to receive the bonus points by June and have it...

Aussie carriers that work well in the UK?

Thanks for this. Looks really attractive but it seems Giffgaff which uses the O2 network have capped the roaming data usage at 5GB when roaming within the EU. Lycamobile which uses the EE network has capped their roaming data usage within the EU at 12GB. Lebara is another one which uses the...

Aussie carriers that work well in the UK?

A quick google suggests that my S20 ultra does support dual sims! Would there be any issues using 2 eSims without any physical Sims?

Aussie carriers that work well in the UK?

Thanks for this. I'll have a look at what Belong offers with regards to roaming packages as well. I believe they use Telstra's network?

Aussie carriers that work well in the UK?

Hi there, yes I will definitely be getting a "local" SIM card when I'm there which works in Europe too. The one that I'm looking at is Lycamobile which I believe works off EE's network. I am, however, open to suggestions!

Aussie carriers that work well in the UK?

Hmm thanks for this. Certainly sounds like an attractive proposition as I'm currently with Telstra and should be able to switch to their pre-paid plans. In this case, would you recommend their pre-paid mobile casual plan ($35 - 6 month expiry)? My concern here would be potentially requiring an...

Aussie carriers that work well in the UK?

Hi everyone, I might be looking to move to the UK soon, potentially. If so, I will likely be away for a year or two (unsure of the exact timeframe yet). I am hoping to maintain my current Aussie phone number for 2FA / banking purposes and thus have to receive the occasional call or SMS to my...
