Yes. Before booking the ticket Qantas said the same. But now they say the luggage has to be custom checked at the first port of entry. I can do that but taking multiple baggage from one terminal to another in bus with 2 children seems to be so difficult.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. My second flight is indigo to Kochi and I have to change terminals (from 2 to 1). So baggage drop off was after the customs in same international terminal or did you carry your luggage to domestic terminal?
