I always make sure that I have an AirTag in my checked in baggage after having my checked luggage not make it to the final destination many times over the years. Today however, at Armidale Airport (where I’ve had bags not arrive from Sydney several times before) I was directed to the mybag.aero website to lodge a “Delayed Bag Report”. Usually it was a call, check with SYD and a yep - we’ll put it on the next flight and drive it over to your hotel.
My first foray into the website report and it was less than a friendly experience, questions around the bag, type, customs declarations??? Took me around 10 minutes I reckon. It’s a black hard case with a QTag on it, I checked it in at Brissie I can see on my iPhone that in it’s at Mascot.
Anyway, the CSA at the airport “couldn’t see anything in the system” (unlike the other person there missing their luggage, appears theirs was ‘visible’) and was confident “it will turn up tonight” on the last flight.
Anyway, rant over - I’ve gone to woolies to get some deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush as it’s 50/50 I’ll see it tonight
