Whilst playing around with AFF Flight tracker for the 'How many airlines have you flown'thread, I see that my total miles has just passed 1M. That's a lot of BIS time and lots of great memories from places visited and things seen. Hopefully time as a world traveller remains as exciting as the last 40 years and that the very recent past of random attacks doesn't become more prevalent.

Having flown UA a bit recently (passing the 1M miles was during a recent LAX-SYD in J on a UA B787-9) I see that there's plenty of UA 1MM+ getting around so respect to them. (but does that mean BIS miles or 'miles earnt'? If the latter that would be much easier to achieve considering status / class bonus and credit card miles)

PS: posted from the BKK TG Royal Silk lounge awaiting a BKK-RGN flight!

Hmmm, although I am not as diligent at filling out the Flight Tracker, my miles count still wouldn't reach these dizzying (heights?). My BIS experience is lots of short sectors (dom mostly >100 pa) with the unavoidable BIS time spent taxiing and boarding, etc. just doesn't seem as satisfying as 1 million miles!
