Hi everyone,
I'm just over a year into churning, six cards in, and grateful to this site for such useful advice. Nice to meet you all.

I made a few mistakes early on but learned my lessons. So far I've only done Velocity cards as I am originally from Europe so I like to travel back there and I've heard that VFF is better for that. However, although I've accumulated hundreds of thousands of points I haven't actually taken the step of trying to book flights yet...
Unfortunately I'm also running out of cards to churn since the exclusion periods have started to get longer. For the time being I can keep churning Virgin Money (unless NAB slams the door on that) and Citi (similar) occasionally. I've still got the try St Georges and I'm almost due for an Amex.

Looking forward to getting the most out of this forum, and maybe contributing a thing or two along the way.

VA has very limited international partners. For some moving VA points to SQ Krisflyer works. QR Qatar and the VA(QR) flights may offer more hope.

QF in Oneworld alliance and with EK and AF/KLM as ff partners has theoretically more options for long haul awards. Can-do have high carrier surcharges (=100% profit = management bonus) But QF classic awards can be very hard to get.

I'm curious what are the better ways to accumulate points other than welcome bonuses?
