* That "due" not die!

Just looking at past promotions, any clues if Velocity will do the bonus points transfer again soon?

That's targeted to individuals though. The usual points bonus is always open to everyone.

I'd be interested to see if one comes out. Got a couple of hundred thousand points on a card I want to cancel soon. Don't make the mistake of cancelling and then chasing points!

When my father died some years ago my sister hastily cancelled his Amex which had several hundred thousand points on it. When the smoke cleared and we realised it was "too late" according to the scum at Amex. He'd had the card since 1974.

Usually comes out at the start of the month so I am assuming it will be announced early next week.

Did not the Oct 13 bonus pts promo have another component running in conjunction being discount on pts reqd for redemptions?

I was pretty sure it did as I did have 2 J rewards MEL-LAX booked at std pts rate - when the promo started I cancelled them I think for about $100 and rebooked at saving I think around 27K pts or so and discounted T & C's I think.

Itching for this to come round. Have points to convert to book 3 reward flights. Hopefully something comes out sooner rather then later.
