Not sure if this is the right place for this (I have posted about it on the Virgin credit card thread).
Today I received an email from Velocity rewards offering 10000 points if I obtain and use the Virgin credit card before 31 December 2010.
Seems they may be trying to cash in a bit on the Woolies promo,pity they didn't match the 16000 points offer.

I received this offer in the mail then about a week later I recieved the email. They seem keen to give me a card.

I don't recall receiving the email or the offer by post.

The offer sounds reasonable but do I really need another credit card?

Offer is OK, but the weird condition of claiming free ticket still turns me off ...
