Another good SQ fare to Europe offering A380.

Standout is the 30K earn to Alaskan! To give some context for the uninitiated, a one way Qantas Business class fare from Australia to the US is 55K with Alaskan. So those 30K Alaskan miles could be worth most of the underlying SQ fare for some people depending on how they value and use them.

I won't start another thread as this is quite a similar deal, but I've just found SQ fares from BKK-CDG (via SIN) in J for AUD2,421 (THB60,085), which is a few hundred dollars cheaper than the FRA deal. Seems to be available on quite a few dates.

I looked up late Feb to mid April, and on the same dates Qantas is doing 2.2k business class return direct to BKK (seems like a sale fare on jetabroad).

That means if you combine them that's just under 5k for full business class SYD-BKK-EU with Qantas and SQ. That's a steal, if you don't mind the extra journey time.

I've just booked BKK-SIN-IST return in March for $2,227 all-in. Good schedules and A350 all the way.

To complement this, I've booked SYD-BKK-SYD in J using 136,800 Qantas points and approx $500 in taxes/charges.

All done in less than an hour this morning. Amazing!

One shudders to think what schedule changes, etc may occur, though...

Be vary or changing dates on these tickets. Fare difference will be quite massive, and possibly more than the ticket itself.
