Has anyone had recent success with joining QFF using one of the links mentioned in the article? This is now the third day it fails with the same generic error. I've tried a few different codes / links with the same result. Would make life a tiny bit easier if I could join my partner to the program. And who knows, one day she might be a frequent flier. (Better be if she wants to hang out with me and have adventures... )

Perhaps I need to resort to calling them and asking to waive the fee with the familiar "couldn't do it online..."

Not personally, but the advice I always suggest is to check if your adblocker killing it (if you have one on, try disabling it), and to try a different browser.

IIRC joining Woolwoths EDR has a link to join QF ffp for free is selecting QF ff points instead of $10 voucher

Do none of the methods listed work? As suggested, try a different browser.

For example, I do not normally use Microsoft Edge, but when I do I have no extra addons installed - purely as is come "out of the box".

I've tried Firefox normal and private windows and Chrome normal window on my laptop. I wonder how the ad-blocker would impact, though? Perhaps I need to strip down some protections on the browser and try again that way.

Mission completed. First I tried on my phone and ended up with the same error. But my work laptop was all good and we now have the 11 millionth 999th member in QFF.

It probably came down to the browsing protections on the laptop. My personal laptop & phone have the same internet security & VPN setups, and laptop has also an ad blocker. My work laptop has less of that. I had a similar problem with the chat function in NAB internet banking: no hope with my personal devices while it functioned all ok on the work laptop.
