The paint stripper has been applied in TQV.
Reportedly coming back in normal Silveroo livery.

VH-VXQ is one of the older Qantas 737s being delivered in June 2003 (but VXA-VXP are up to 18 months older) and was repainted in November 2015 to celebrate Qantas 95th year in the 707 livery.
The other Retro Roo "James Strong" VH-XZP in the ochre livery was delivery in November 2014 in that livery and is the youngest 737 in the fleet.
Quite possibly VXQ might regain its original "Redland" name

Sad news from the guys in Townsville at Flying Colours Aviation. They have received unfortunately into their hangar VH-VXQ. She will no longer be Retro Roo II. It’s to be returned to standard Qantas...
