I guess when there's limited competition, they can get away with it
Also evident when QF's 737 refurbs are ripping out the PTVs (replaced with wireless IFE) to save weight similar to their hybrid budget carrier rival.

I pretty much always bring my own tablet, though I understand it would be frustrating for families. Purchasing and carrying multiple tablets would add up quickly.

Qantas Group have a lot of 32Xs on order/ option. There will highly likely be a second config in the future.

But at least initially these will be domestic aircraft replacing the oldest 332s and 737s.
 
Vanessa Hudson currently in Hamburg to view the plane on the Airbus production line (AFR report on their app) . Interesting story on her, if you can access (I can't find it on their web page).
