This could be a decent promo for anyone who needs to take an Uber to/from an Aussie airport - 500 bonus points in addition to the 1 point per dollar spent on Uber Reserve trips until the end of April 2025. Eligible on every trip during the promotional period.

T&C's:

Qantas Frequent Flyer members who complete an Uber Reserve ride on eligible airport trips in Australia with Uber between 5 April 2025 and 30 April 2025 on their personal profile, will earn 500 bonus Qantas Points for every eligible trip. This offer cannot be combined with any other Qantas offer. This offer is valid for the recipient only and is not transferable. This offer is not valid for Uber for Business profiles, Uber Taxi, for purchases through the Uber Eats app or for Courier deliveries. Qantas Points cannot be earned on cancelled or no-show trip requests. Qantas Frequent Flyers who had already linked their Frequent Flyer and Uber accounts prior to 5 April 2025 and make their first Uber Reserve ride on eligible airport trips using the Qantas or Uber App, will also earn 1,000 Qantas Points on top of the 500 bonus points. Please allow a maximum of 6 weeks after you have completed your Uber Reserve trip for Qantas Points to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

The last time I used uber reserve to get to the airport, he accepted, drove to about a km away from me, then stopped and didn’t move for 20 minutes nor did he respond to my calls or messages. Last time I’ll be using uber reserve versus a regular ride share.

Beware. There is a reservation fee and a cancellation fee. I bet these cost more than the value of 500 points.

I have no idea why you would reserve a ride from an airport when you have no control over the time you will get to the Uber pickup point after getting off a flight.
