Cheap J flights SIN - BCN with Saudia $2200

There currently is some pretty well priced flights from Singapore to BCN/MXP (Europe) for $2200 in J with Saudia Airlines. Found a few dates available in Oct/Nov. The connection looks really good - especially for Saudia. The lounge in Jeddah is pretty good (albeit cold). Its a better alternative to MNL.

Thanks @WanderingNomad . Am pricing them myself, this very moment - but also look for their transit-visa, 'stopover' fares which are cheaper than their through fares (but maybe not in this case). You can get some ordinary J configs (ie 2-2-2) .

Barcelona and Birmingham continue to come up fairly cheap. They are both 787s where it is 1-2-1. Munich also comes up as well as Milan, but they are on A320s (2-2) or A330s (2-2-2). I found one way on select dates in Aug/Sep is $1,272 to $1,312 AUD. I can't commit to a return because I am unsure when that will be

I love my grog but I can go without it for a few days or weeks. From my experiences on SV long haul the aircraft are comfortable, clean and food was really good. Staff are polite and attentive too. Some of their mocktails were actually quite nice. Would have zero hesitation flying them again

With about 17:25 total travel time, realistically it’s only about 19 hrs without access to grog. I’m neither an alcoholic nor a teetotaller and going without alcohol for 19 hrs is something I do almost every day. But likewise it can sometimes be a few weeks between drinks for me and it doesn’t bother me at all.

I enjoy a drink with dinner everyday and don’t mind a few on weekends but I’m more than able to go days, weeks or longer without drinking. We have travelled to numerous dry countries and never had an issue

As mentioned in another thread, some very competitive one way fares too. SIN-MUC for $1227 for example.
