I was going to comment that the thread on FT is my staple starting point for codes, but this means every time you book you need to go and look for a code (hotels.com, cheaptickets, Orbitz, travelpony are but some that always appear to have a code). The hassle is of course that as codes vary the best sight needs to be re-researched each time, so anything that can assist with that would help.

For hotel stays away from premium Chain hotels.

I left my hotel booking for Pattaya late and Zuji offered $50 off for bookings over $300. My 4 nights cost ~$308 and the $50 discount made it bearable.
