I have been preallocated 13j. This will be my first time upstairs. I'm not claustophobic but think I'm comparing the aisle space to some of smaller flts. in states, is it the embraer? When accessing the toilet, I've had to walk side on in the aisle and at times still bumped into folk sitting in aisle. (I'm not that big).

My ? is how spacious does it feel upstairs including aisle space. I'm very lucky that this is all I have to worry about. :)
Thanks in advance.

You will fit nicely in 13J.
It is the best part of a 747.
Plenty of room.

Nothing wrong with 13J. My preference is for an emergency exit row seat and 16A or 16K are my favourites. I like having the storage bin next to me.

You're travelling BNE-LAX? What about zone A (nose) seats? 4E/F are great as no-one has to climb over another to get out.

I'd sit in the front any time over the upper deck if I had the option.

Thank you Serfty and Cove. I'll go ahead then and select one of the seats in row 4. Seat guru doesn't paint a positive picture of the single seats in 4. I've also read where someone said they didn't particularly enjoy the experience. But I'll have a go, will be only time I will be able to fly in front cabin. :)
cheers

I am watching QF 15/16 ATM & it seems to show 4 class planes being sold as 3 class, meaning J pax in rows 1-4 would be in first class seats.
If I had the option, I would try for a A/K in hope of a nice flatbed...

thanks i already did put down for row 4 in the middle as serfty had recommended on his seat list. hoping i don't get bumped for a couple, but if I do, I do.
