15-45% bonus Qantas Points on transfers from cards (possibly targeted)

Received an email today from Qantas offering 15-45% bonus points on transfers from card partners in November.

The small print says "this offer is available to the recipient of this email only and should not be shared" but there is a public page on QF's site about it:

The 45% bonus requires a 2 million points transfer! Otherwise it's 15% for transfers up to 500k, and 25% for transfers of 500k-2m.

I doubt we'll see these types of deals in 2019 as RBA continues its reign of stupidity within the bank networks.

I've transferred all my warehoused bank points into an airline program. Pretty much all airline loyalty programs in affected countries who are switched on will be doing bonus transfers for Nov - Dec.

The e-mails appear to be targeted (I got one having taken advantage of previous offers several times in the past) but the deal itself is apparently open to anyone who knows about it. I've just become a member of Amex Platinum and have a few points that I would like to transfer to Qantas.

If you need to click a specific link in the email to register, it's highly unlikely someone else's email will work.

These links are tied to your own account usually.

Its not usually case. Normally you have to enter member number and surname.

If you received the email but deleted it you are still eligible.

3 months ago I switched from direct transfer (QF Ult) to Amex MR.... I've never transferred points to QF that weren't direct monthly sweep and I've never received a transfer offer before. Seems to me one could be forgiven thinking the two system are talking! Yes, great timing as I received my first ever offer.

It's a very tempting offer given I'm at the 45% level ..... but it's a no from me. My millions are destined for SQ and others.

I always receive these offers by email AND posted letter. Finally, for the first time in years, I haven't received postal notification. Good to see the environment being saved one small chunk at a time.
