Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anybody has seen the 20,000 point bonus offer on new ANZ credit cards that seems to have just come out? I just got an EDR Mastercard & the 16,000 bonus points with that deal were credited to my Qantas account just now.

I read through the terms & conditions for the ANZ offer, it doesn't really say anywhere that you forfeit your bonus points if you cancel the card? But I can't seem to find what the cancellation charge for the card would be. Annual fee is $95 so you'd have to cop that for sure, but if the cancellation charge is not high, could be a good way to get 20,000 bonus points? Hmm.....

There is most likely no cancellation charge, besides forfeiting the annual fee, I certainly wasn't charged a fee when I cancelled the ANZ card a few months ago.
