Got it as part of the Marriott package in April, expires September 2016. Use code BQ7 to check availability first please and once booked reply to the thread. It should be a BAR rate so cancelable if for some reason the card got lost in the mail (which happened to me lately).

First reply gets it.

Interesting. Is a 'BAR', pay at the hotel? Does the stay itself need to be taken before September?

BAR rate means Best Available Rate or usually means lowest flexible rate, which for Marriott is cancel before midnight on the day you check in. If you cancel after that time you will be charged a one-night cancellation change. I think the stay needs to start by 30 September but can cross into October, and the best way to check it is to try to book a rate on the official hotel website using that code for the dates you want. If it work then it will be valid.
