Here's my offer, for me this is pretty coughpy. I have 6 stays next month in USA, 1 in October and 3 in November, all on reward night stays (had heaps of points to burn) so in effect with my travel plans in the next 4 months I will get nothing (again).

I basically live at a Holiday Inn so I guess their software has worked out that I had to do nothing really to "wipe the board" and pick up the bonus points, often 70-80,000 per promotion.

I will pick up the 10,600 from renewing the Ambassador membership and staying at two HI's.

Why not hold 2 memberships ?
Then leap frog them
One in your wife's Or kids name and don’t use the other for a while ?
I actually use one as The Booker and the other as the Stayer and we effectively get extra points
