210 to gold in 30 days!

Hi All.

Long time stalker - recent blogger!! Hubby just got SG & I'm 210 SC away - Do you think its possible for me to achieve gold in 30 days in a reasonable (cost effective) manner??

Its a big year of travel for us so i would really like to understand how all of this works to our benefit.

If you have 48,000 points you should be able to get a JASA somewhere for 240 points without effort....I'll find the link to give you some ideas....

Thanks for the reference Robbi - I usually book online and have not used points for booking and didn't know about different codes for your bookings - some interesting reading! I have about 75K points so will give it a go.

Yep, for only 48k points.

The first post in the thread http://www.australianfrequentflyer....essful-asa-bookings-booked-classic-53677.html explains how to get a JASA (J class Any Seat Award)

You could also do MEL-BNE-TSV-BNE-MEL for 72k points + $$, but I think that would involve an overnighter.

I've been to TSV twice in last 6 weeks for SC's and I enjoyed overnighting there.
