Does anybody have any experience using this card in Russia, in Moscow specifically?

Very out of date report, but friends of mine used it in Russia about 5 years go. I'm not sure of the details but something went wrong with it, the card got cancelled without them being informed, and then they had to use other cards for the rest of their trip. They were not impressed.

Used it (well the wizard card) about 3yrs ago with mixed success.
Had informed previously so no cancellations but some machines did accept a credit function... But generally OK and an amazing city to visit -- make sure you take the subway a few times.

Bit of a thread hijack but what about St Petersburg? My sister is heading there soon and wants to get a 28 Degrees to use in Latvia and Berlin.

Used mine in Moscow and St Petersburg within the last week or so with no dramas. Unable to use in Irkutsk, as machines didn't give an option for credit card - just assumed savings, and spat card back out.

Now that's as up to date as you're likely to get :)

edit: also fine in Riga, Latvia. Machine didn't give savings/cheque/credit option, but money came out. *shrug*
