I've booked a flight with Blue1/SAS flying HEL-MUC via CPH, with 30 minute turnaround in CPH in January (all on one PNR). From the forum's experience, should I expect my connection to occur, and if so, will the bags actually make it?
It's the same terminal in CPH, but with it being an evening flight, I am surprised that SAS offered it.

Cheers!

You should be fine. I transit through there quite regularly and have made that sort of connect plenty of times. The only hold up can be passport control when some of the international flights are leaving, but even then its not too bad.

We're within the Schengen zone. All good! If it was Qantas I'd know it wouldn't work.

Reliability of connections. Can you imagine 1/2hour turnaround in SYD or BNE?
My JASAs take me through SYD with about 45min to connect. I have always had time for a beverage in the lounge and a relaxed stroll to the gate. 30min might mean I miss a drink, but not the flight. IME I don't think that QF deserve the brickbat this time.

Nobody I know has had luggage transfer successfully in 30 minutes with QF, and it takes ages to get delayed luggage to DRW. Anyway - that's personal experience just adding to paranoia. I'm impressed with SAS' confidence.

Point taken. I only travel HLO so have no experience with luggage transfer.

I can say it from experience myself going INT --> DOM and also seeing pax going DOM --> INT. having said that I do believe the MCT Dom -> Dom is 45 mins. in BNE it was 35 mins from memory on my last trip to TSV.
